Providing psychotherapy services in New York City

Owner, Founder, and Clinical Director at Taproot Therapy, LCSW, PLLC

The therapist-client relationship is pivotal to helping you make progress on your personal goals. Together, we identify challenges, and help you shift your challenges to create the happier and healthier life you want and deserve. We specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy for adolescents and adults. This type of treatment is effective for anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, issues with relationships, emotional regulation difficulties, managing impulsive behaviors, substance abuse, and eating disorders.

We specialize in family therapy, therapy with adolescents and teenagers, and individuals with cognitive, developmental, and learning disabilities, as well as traumatic brain injuries. I specialize in anxiety disorders, substance abuse for adolescents, palliative and hospice care, and depressive disorders.

Our practice is also certified in The Daring Way™, a highly experiential methodology based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, and groups are frequently offered.
